On November 30, the International Festival Bazaar was held at the Austria Center Vienna (ACV). The KRG Representation participated as part of the Iraqi delegation, showcasing products from the Kurdistan Region.
The UNWG organizes an annual one-day International Festival Bazaar for the public with free admission. The event features gift items from around the world, along with special food and drinks offered by various national kitchens. Families can also enjoy international cultural performances. UNWG members and volunteers from Vienna’s international communities actively participate in the Bazaar.
Over the years, embassies and international missions to the UN have provided consistent support, while Austrian and international businesses contribute to the Bazaar’s success. Since 1968, the Bazaar has raised over €5 million for charity. From the funds raised at the 2023 Bazaar and other UNWG activities, the UNWG granted €79,409 in 2024 to children’s charities across eleven countries.
