“I believe Kurdistan has all the necessary ingredients to attract foreign investment. I would like to reassure everyone that there will be no place for terrorists to operate in Kurdistan”, President Masoud Barzani told the Kurdistan Review, a publication launched in February.
The Kurdistan Review, published by Invest In Group (IIG), is a joint project in partnership with the Kurdistan Regional Government’s Department of Foreign Relations (DFR).
The publication provides key updates relating to recent developments in 11 sectors. Notably, “Kurdistan Review” includes exclusive interview and analysis pieces with leading players from various sectors, who discuss the business environment in the Kurdistan Region, their success stories and key projects that are helping to promote further growth in the Kurdistan Region.
In the publication, Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani says, “A cornerstone of the KRG policy has been the assurance of individual economic freedom and an open market where entrepreneurs, investors, and businesses of various capacities and specializations can drive growth and development.”
The Kurdistan Review – Special Issue includes two supplements: a guide to key attractions in the Kurdistan Region, and a start-up guide for businesses seeking to establish a foothold.
Commenting on the release of the Kurdistan Review, Minister Falah Mustafa Bakir, Head of the Department of Foreign Relations, said, “This is the most comprehensive economic review to cover our key industries and economy. Our broad aim is to show that Kurdistan is open to making new business and diplomatic relationships.”
