On Thursday, 30 May 2024, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani met with Mohammed Shia’ al-Sudani, Prime Minister of Iraq, in Baghdad.
The meeting focused on the overall situation in Iraq, emphasising the importance of resolving outstanding issues between Erbil and Baghdad in accordance with the Iraqi Constitution.
I arrived in Baghdad earlier today to reaffirm our commitment to solving disputes with our Iraqi partners.
They can count on our readiness.

Both leaders agreed on the necessity of continuing constructive dialogue to address concerns that affect the collective interests of all Iraqi citizens.
