Prime Minister Masrour Barzani travelled to the United Arab Emirates to participate in the World Government Summit, that took place in Dubai from 11 to 13 February.
Accompanying the Prime Minister was a high-level delegation, including Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani, Minister of Municipalities and Tourism Sasan Awni, President of the Diwan of the Council of Ministers Omed Sabah, and Cabinet Secretary Amanj Raheem.
During the summit, Prime Minister Barzani held high-level meetings with world leaders and senior officials. These discussions focussed on strengthening diplomatic and economic ties between the Kurdistan Region and participating countries, exploring new opportunities for cooperation in trade, investment, economics, and addressing key regional and international developments.
The KRG delegation’s participation underscored Prime Minister Barzani’s continued commitment to international engagement, reinforcing the Kurdistan Region’s position as a key and reliable partner on the global stage.
